A person arrested for allegedly issuing a death threat to Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on social media during the live broadcast of Independence Day celebrations was sent to five days of police custody by a court on Sunday. Abdul Mutaleb, arrested by police from Bhuragaon in Morigaon district, was produced before the court on Sunday, which granted the custody.
