The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is redefining the railway landscape of the Northeast under the jurisdiction of Northeast Frontier Railway. As many as 92 stations have been identified for redevelopment in the NFR zone, out of which 60 stations across the Northeast are being taken up under the scheme. Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has clarified that a fake circular related to the Assam Premier League is currently being circulated on social media and other platforms. "The said circular falsely uses the name, logo, stadium details, images, and references to players associated with ACA, thereby creating confusion and misinformation among the public and stakeholders," a statement issued by the ACA said on Friday. The final electoral roll released after the Special Revision (SR) in Assam has revealed mixed district-wise trends, with voter numbers rising in several Muslim-majority districts while most tribal-dominated and upper Assam districts recorded a fall compared to the draft roll. Several vehicles were caught in the sudden collapse of a bridge at Anipur market under the Ramkrishnanagar constituency in Sribhumi district on Wednesday, leaving two persons seriously injured and triggering panic in the area.
