Heavy rainfall in Dibrugarh disrupted many places of the district. Since last 4/5 days there has been hailstorm in many parts of state. To reports, places of Dibrugarh have disrupted a lot, big trees were uprooted, and electricity poles fell down, roads are blocked due to falling down of trees.  Heavy hailstorm has caused extensive damages in various parts.

Scientists have discovered that the development of embryos in pregnancies that end in miscarriage is slower than that of embryos in pregnancies that result in live births. The researchers, led by Erasmus MC, University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, used imaging technology to examine the growth of embryos in 611 ongoing pregnancies, 33 of which resulted in miscarriage. Virtual reality techniques were used to produce 3D holograms of embryos.Human Reproduction is the journal where the study is published.

The state Legislature was informed on Monday that the Gujarat government has paid Adani Power and Tata Power a total of Rs 16,900 crore for the purchase of power over the previous two years.Data presented by Energy Minister Kanubhai Desai during Question Hour shows that in 2021 and 2022, the state government paid Adani Power Mundra Ltd. Rs. 8,160 crore and Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd. On Sunday, a high-level Indian delegation paid a visit to Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the country and gave him an update on the status of priorities designated by both countries for bilateral cooperation in the vital energy sector.The delegation, led by Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry Secretary Pankaj Jain, met President Wickremesinghe, who shared his thoughts on speedy implementation of the effort, according to the Indian High Commission in the country.It said that India will provide Sri Lanka with 500 indoor cooking devices powered by solar energy.
