The 2nd Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group (ECSWG) meeting began on Monday at the Mahatma Mandir in Gujarat's capital Gandhinagar. The meeting was attended by 130 delegates from G20 member states, 11 invited countries and 14 international organizations. Investment in Mutual funds (where not more than 35% is invested in equity shares of domestic companies) that are bought on or after April 1, 2023 will be taxed as short-term capital gains at applicable tax rates.
