Motorcycle brands Yezdi and BSA have launched their latest scrambler motorcycles in Kolkata, expanding their product portfolio for riders seeking versatile machines suited for city roads, highways and off-road trails. The new Yezdi Scrambler 350 and BSA Scrambler 650 are now available at authorised dealerships across the city. The Yezdi Scrambler 350, billed as India’s lightest 350cc scrambler, is powered by the new liquid-cooled Katar engine. Designed for both daily commuting and weekend adventures, the motorcycle offers a strong torque-to-weight ratio and responsive performance. It is available at an introductory starting price of Rs 1,99,950. The BSA Scrambler 650 is powered by India’s only 650cc single-cylinder engine in its segment.
Inspired by iconic BSA motorcycles such as the Gold Star Catalina, A10 Spitfire and A65 Firebird, the model combines classic British styling with strong low- and mid-range torque delivery. The motorcycle is priced from Rs 3,24,950. Speaking on the launch, Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, said scramblers have the potential to transform motorcycling by offering riders greater versatility for both urban and adventure riding. The launch is expected to strengthen Kolkata’s premium motorcycle market, where demand for lifestyle and adventure-oriented motorcycles has been growing steadily. Industry observers believe the arrival of the two scramblers will provide enthusiasts in Kolkata with more choices across different price segments.
