World of Hyatt expands HYROX partnership to India, launches race-cation experience

World of Hyatt has expanded its regional collaboration with fitness racing series HYROX to India, offering a range of travel and hospitality benefits aimed at racers and spectators attending upcoming events in the country.

The expansion builds on Hyatt’s role as the Official Regional Hotel Partner for HYROX across Asia Pacific and introduces the race-cation concept to Indian race destinations. As part of the initiative, actor and fitness enthusiast MilindSoman has joined the collaboration to promote fitness-focused travel experiences. HYROX, one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness racing series, combines running with functional workout stations in a standardised race format and has witnessed rapid growth in India. Upcoming races are scheduled in New Delhi from July 24-26 and Mumbai from September 17-20.

Participating Hyatt hotels in India will offer athletes and spectators exclusive room rates, athlete-focused amenities, recovery facilities, curated destination guides, discounted food, beverage and spa services, along with in-room recovery kits and complimentary laundry. The offers will be available at selected Hyatt properties located near race venues and can be booked directly through Hyatt’s official website, subject to terms and conditions.

Speaking on the collaboration, Hyatt Asia Pacific Vice President of Brand & Marketing Tammy Ng said the initiative is designed to help racers extend their competition into a travel experience focused on performance, recovery and exploration. HYROX India Country Head Deepak Raj said India’s fast-growing fitness community has created strong demand for travel-connected sporting experiences, while MilindSoman said the partnership encourages participants to focus on preparation, recovery and active travel beyond race day.

In Kolkata, the collaboration reflects the rising demand for fitness tourism and experiential travel among urban consumers. Although Kolkata is not currently listed as a HYROX race destination, the city’s growing community of endurance athletes and recreational runners could generate increased interest in race-linked travel packages. The initiative is also expected to encourage premium hospitality brands in eastern India to explore similar partnerships as sports tourism gains momentum across the country.
