Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman will be felicitated with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award 2023. The actress has worked in movies like Guide and Reshma Aur Shera.
Anurag Thakur, the Minister of I&B(Information and Broadcasting), took to his official handle X(formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “I feel an immense sense of happiness and honour in announcing that Waheeda Rehman ji is being bestowed with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award this year for her stellar contribution to Indian Cinema.”
