With the aim of creating awareness about cleanliness and taking the message of cleanliness to students, two puppet plays on ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ were successfully staged today at the auditorium of the National Science Centre, Guwahati, organized by Surajit Academy.
The puppet show, directed by Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awardee Binita Devi and conceptualized by Simanta Sharma, Senior Fellow of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, created special enthusiasm and joy among the students present.
It is noteworthy that various awareness programmes are being implemented as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign at the National Science Centre from October 2 to October 31. In line with this programme, the puppet show was organized in an attempt to make students aware of cleanliness and social responsibility.
