Turkish Airlines restores Middle East network with resumption of key regional flights

Turkish Airlines has announced the phased resumption of flights to several Middle East destinations as it continues restoring its regional network following a temporary suspension of services. The carrier resumed flights to Abu Dhabi on July 1 and will restart services to Dammam on July 10, Kuwait on July 11 and Bahrain on July 16.

The airline said the move follows the resumption of Dubai operations on June 9 and forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen connectivity across the Middle East through its Istanbul hub. Turkish Airlines has also increased frequencies on several existing routes, doubling Dubai services from seven to 14 weekly flights from June 25, raising Amman flights from 14 to 21 weekly from June 19, and increasing Beirut services from 21 to 28 weekly beginning July 1.

With operations returning to normal, the airline aims to reconnect passengers to its global network spanning more than 350 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas. The published schedules include regular services between Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain, with departures and arrivals operating on designated days of the week.

The restoration of Turkish Airlines’ Middle East network is expected to benefit travellers from Kolkata by improving onward connectivity through Istanbul to Europe and North America. The expanded flight network is also likely to support business travel, tourism and student mobility from eastern India, offering passengers more seamless international travel options via one of the world’s largest global airline networks.

Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight schedules and travel requirements through Turkish Airlines’ official channels before planning their journeys.
