TCS CEO K Krithivasan’s Salary Grows to Rs 28 Crore in FY26

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan received a salary of Rs 28 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26, which is a 6.3% increase over the previous year, according to the company’s latest annual report. His total remuneration for the fiscal year included a salary of Rs 1.67 crore, benefits, perquisites and allowances of Rs 1.43 crore and a handsome performance-linked commission of Rs 25 crore. The annual report noted that the CEO’s total earnings were 332.8 times the median compensation of the tech giant’s workforce.

On the other hand, Tata Group and TCS chairman N Chandrasekaran has opted to waive off his commission completely. He received just Rs 4.2 lakh as sitting fees for the entire fiscal year, according to a company policy. The IT major meanwhile saw an upward trend in employee compensation, with the median employee remuneration growing 5.1% over the year. Junior and mid-level employees in India received average hikes between 4.5% and 7% and top performers in the organization were given double digit raises.

“On the financial front, TCS saw moderate fiscal growth during this period. The company’s profit after tax for the full year rose marginally by 1.35% to Rs 49,210 crore against Rs 48,553 crore in the last fiscal. Revenue from operations for the full year was up 4.58% at Rs 2.67 lakh crore, helped by a strong final quarter when Q4 revenue jumped 9.64% to Rs 70,698 crore.
