Tata Motors launches utra range of smart trucks in South Africa

Tata Motors in collaboration with its authorized distributor, Tata Africa Holdings Limited, has officially introduced its groundbreaking Ultra range of multipurpose heavy-duty trucks, the Ultra T.9 and Ultra T.14, to the South African market. This launch signifies Tata Motors’ commitment to providing safer, smarter, and greener solutions for cargo transportation needs. The Ultra trucks are engineered to meet the diverse demands of various industries, including bakery, FMCG, agriculture, and construction, offering unparalleled performance and efficiency. Boasting advanced features such as a walk-through cabin, power steering, and dashboard-mounted gear lever, these trucks ensure safe and fatigue-free driving for operators.

Powered by Tata Motors’ globally renowned turbocharged diesel engines, the Ultra T.9 and T.14 deliver exceptional power, torque, and fuel efficiency, making them ideal for long-distance haulage across rough terrains. Equipped with parabolic suspension for robust performance, these trucks also feature Tata Motors’ flagship connected vehicle system, Fleet Edge, facilitating efficient fleet management and maximizing productivity.
