Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today took stock of the progress of the solid waste management project being constructed at Lekai in Dibrugarh district today. It may be noted that the waste management project is being constructed under Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme involving a financial outlay of Rs. 75 crore. The project with an installed capacity of 100 metric tonne will produce 40 tonne bio fertilizer as an bi-product.
