Uttarakhand: PM Modi inaugurates re-development projects worth Rs 130 cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various re-development projects worth Rs 130 crores in Kedarnath. These projects include Saraswati Retaining Wall Aasthapath and Ghats, Mandakini Retaining Wall Aasthapath, Tirth Purohit Houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini. He unveiled the statue of Adi Shankaracharya at the premises of the Kedarnath Temple in Rudraprayag district. Before the inauguration, the Prime Minister offered prayers and performed ‘aarti’ at the ancient temple. Uttarakhand govt issues COVID guidelines for Char Dham Yatra despite HC’s stay on pilgrimage

As per the Covid guidelines issued by the Uttarakhand government says that the Char Dham Yatra will commence from July 1.
