Bengali filmmaker Prasoon Chatterjee's directorial debut 'Dostji' won the top prize, the Golden Shika Award, at the Nara International Film Festival (IFF) in Japan in the international competition category. The director will also receive the opportunity to make a film in Japan fully financed and produced by Nara IFF (up to $1 million) as part of the award.
