In West Bengal, Siliguri 28 medical students of the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The Medical Superintendent and Vice-Principal of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital Dr Sanjay Mallick informed that 28 medical students, 7 nursing staff and 2 medical staff have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The Jaigaon police arrested two people with brown Sugar. The arrested accused have been identified as Rakesh Prasad and Bishal Sharma. They were produced at the court today. The OC of Jaigaon Police Station Abhishek Bhattacharya said that the police, acting on a tip-off, arrested the duo with 50 grams of brown sugar with an estimated market value of Rs 1.5 lakh.
