 Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal would lay the foundation stone of a martyrs’ memorial at the Swahid Smarak Udyan at West Boragaon in the city on December 10 on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day observed by the State Government. On the same day, an informative book encompassing the events of Assam Movement leading to its culmination with the historic signing of Assam Accord in 1985 would also be released.
