On Tuesday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the Covid-19 vaccine for children is expected to be launched in the country from August. Last week, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) director Dr Randeep Guleria said the trials for covaxin were underway and the results were expected by September. But curently Covaxin trials are underway on children aged 2-6 years in Delhi AIIMS.
