Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated the newly constructed buildings of Majuli police station and Garhmur police station at Majuli along with a guest house for the police personnel. The police stations are built while reflecting the spiritual and cultural mosaic of Majuli in their architecture. Speaking at the inauguration programme, the Chief Minister said that work culture of police force has improved tremendously in the last four and half years and an environment has been developed where public can come to police stations to register complaints without any apprehension.
