Central government refutes reports of Covid vaccine shortage in Maharashtra

Refuting media reports on the Covid-19 vaccine shortage in Maharashtra, the Health Ministry said the state had over 24 lakh unutilised doses of Covaxin and received an additional 6.35 lakh doses on Friday. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Anil Deshmukh’s lawyer in connection with the leak of the agency's internal probe documents against the former Maharashtra home minister, officials said.
