Rajasthan on Thursday kicked off its cashless ‘mediclaim’ scheme worth Rs 5 lakh for each family of the state, starting the registration for its Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. Petrol and diesel rates were cut by oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Thursday as global crude oil prices continue to weaken. This was the second straight day of fuel price cut by OMCs after rates were slashed for the first time in 2021 on Wednesday.
