The Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Chinese intruder along the India-Bangladesh international border in Malda, West Bengal while he was trying to cross the border illegally. The 36-year-old man was infiltrating into the Indian territory around 7 am. He was dressed in a black sweatshirt, pants and shoes. Upon being challenged by the forces, he tried to run away from spot. India records lowest single day rise in Covid-19 infections in two months

91,702 new cases of Covid-19 reported in India, the lowest single-day rise in infections in around two months. This is the fourth day in a row when daily infections in India are below one lakh. India records over 92K Covid cases, 2,219 deaths in 24 hrs

India on Wednesday logged 92,596 new Covid infections in 24 hours, less than one lakh cases for the second straight day and 6,098 cases more than Tuesday, the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said.
