HCCB distributes dry ration kits among needy villagers

Free dry ration kits have been distributed by HCCB (one of India's top FMCG companies) among the needy villagers of Raninagar in Jalpaiguri through a community outreach initiative. HCCB along with its NGO partner, Rashtriya GraminVikas Nidhi (RGVN) organised the programme in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, Jalpaiguri. HCCB is also donating ventilators, ICU beds, ICU equipment, BiPAP machines and several other medical emergency amenities to several hospitals in the country. They are celebrating the ‘will do’ spirit of the ‘SafaiSathis’ (sanitation workers who have been working continuously to keep the country clean by collecting and helping recycle plastic waste – even during the pandemic). HCCB introduces ‘work from home’ policy

HCCB, one of India’s top FMCG companies, has rolled out a ‘work from home’ policy for employees. The policy will span the period post-pandemic, such that employees can choose to permanently work-from-home, provided they do not need to be physically present at the work location (factory, sales etc.).  As a first step, the company has started delivering ergonomically designed chairs from its office to the eligible employees, working out of its headquarters in Bengaluru, to their homes, on request.
