The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a fresh FIR in the alleged irregularities in the Gomti riverfront project in Lucknow. The agency has booked 189 officials and contractors. This is the second FIR related to irregularities in the Rs 1,437-crore Gomti riverfront development project in Lucknow. An earlier FIR has already covered work orders worth over Rs 1,031 crore.
