On Monday, almost two lakh people in Madhya Pradesh's Indore received COVID-19 vaccine shots, setting a new record for the highest number of immunizations in a single day for any district in the country. In a historic feat, 80,95,314 doses of COVID-19 immunisation were provided on the first day of the new phase of COVID-19 vaccination, which began on Monday.
