A labourer was killed and several others were injured after a huge explosion followed by a fire at a chemical unit in in Gujarat's Panchmahal district. The blast took place around 10 am at the Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), situated near Ranjitnagar village in Ghoghamba taluka, Panchmahal Superintendent of Police Leena Patil had said. "A labourer has died while 15 to 16 other workers, were injured in the explosion and were shifted to different hospitals. At least eighteen employees of a chemical factory in Maharashtra's Pune have died and several are missing as a massive fire broke out in the sanitiser-manufacturing unit of the firm on Monday. Some 37 workers were trapped inside the building when the blaze started around 15:45 on Monday.
