The much-awaited Asomi Bhogali Mela 2025 was officially opened on Thursday at the Borpara Public Playground by 32-Bongaigaon LAC MLA Diptimayee Choudhury. As part of the Bhogali Bihu celebrations, the Mela is conducted every year from January 9 to 11 and is organized by the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM), which is housed under the Department of Panchayat & Rural Development, Government of Assam. The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), ASRLM of Bongaigaon is organizing the event with the intention of giving members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) a marketplace where they may display and sell their locally made goods.…
