WB: Government offices to remain open on March 28, 29 amid Bharat Bandh

Following central exchange unions' call for a two-day nationwide strike on 28-29 March, the West Bengal authorities has said that all workplaces will remain open on these days and mandated employees to report for duty. Bharat Bandh: Centre asks states to ensure law and order

The Centre has asked all state governments to ensure the safety of the public property and maintenance of law and order in wake of the nationwide strike call given by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha for 10 hours which began at 6 a.m. on Monday. Members of the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) blocked roads in Muzaffarnagar on Friday as part of the 12-hour Bharat Bandh, called by farmer groups who have been protesting against the new agri laws.
