Adani Group has attained the tender for the redevelopment of Mumbai's Dharavi area, one of the largest slum clusters in Asia. The Maharashtra govt. concerned officials, on November 29, offered the financial tender for the Dharavi redevelopment project. Three companies namely Adani Realty, DLF and Naman Group had submitted proposal for the redevelopment of Dharavi and rehabilitation of slum dwellers. The Adani Group on Monday began its “Observation Period” at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport in Guwahati as part of its mandate to develop and modernise northeast India’s main airport, officials said. Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) acquiring SB Energy India from Softbank of Japan and India’s Bharti Group to add 4,954 MW to its renewable power portfolio. The transaction values SB Energy India at an enterprise valuation of approximately $3.5 billion. The target portfolio consists of large-scale utility assets with 84 per cent solar capacity (4,180 MW), 9 per cent wind-solar hybrid capacity (450 MW) and 7 per cent wind capacity (324 MW). New York-based stock exchange S&P index removed Adani ports from its index due to their business links with the Myanmar military.
