Škoda Slavia gets new features, eight-speed automatic as prices start at ₹9.99 lakh

Škoda Auto India has announced prices for the new Slavia, with the updated sedan starting at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and deliveries set to begin next week. Built on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, the new Slavia is offered in six trims — Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo.

The 1.0 TSI engine is available with a six-speed manual and a new eight-speed torque converter automatic, claimed as a first-in-segment offering, while the 1.5 TSI is paired with a seven-speed DSG. The car gets refreshed styling with new LED headlamps and taillamps, sequential rear indicators, revised bumpers, a horizontal chrome grille strip and new alloy wheels. Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige join the colour palette, with the latter available from December 2026.

Technology upgrades include a segment-first rear-seat massage function, 360-degree Area View camera, Park Pilot and a 26.03-cm digital cockpit on higher variants. The 25.6-cm touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and features a Google Cloud-powered AI Voice Assistant with Gemini.

The Slavia retains its five-star Global NCAP rating, with more than 25 safety features standard and over 40 on higher variants. Škoda also offers a four-year/100,000-km warranty, roadside assistance and free labour services.

In Guwahati, the updated Slavia could strengthen Škoda’s position in the premium sedan segment, particularly among buyers seeking a feature-rich alternative to SUVs without compromising on performance, safety and European styling. The company currently has over 345 customer touchpoints across 193 Indian cities.

Škoda Auto India recorded 72,665 vehicle sales in 2025, registering 107% year-on-year growth.
