Skoda bets on premium SUV demand with enhanced Kodiaq range

Škoda Auto India has refreshed its flagship Kodiaq luxury 4×4 SUV range for 2026 with new technology, enhanced premium features and a wider variant lineup aimed at different customer segments. Prices for the updated Kodiaq start at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Kodiaq lineup now includes Lounge, Sportline and Selection L&K variants, each offering a distinct focus on accessibility, sportiness and premium luxury. The company has also introduced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the Sportline and Selection L&K variants. These include adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot detection, rear traffic alert and front assist with automatic braking functions.

The Kodiaq Lounge has been positioned as a value-luxury offering with a five-seater configuration and 786-litre boot space. The Sportline variant highlights Skoda’s motorsport-inspired styling with glossy black elements, while the Selection L&K continues as the top-end luxury trim with massage seats, Cognac leather upholstery and premium comfort features. All variants continue with the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 150kW power and 320Nm torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and 4×4 capability.

Speaking on the update, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, said the company aims to cater to every luxury 4×4 aspiration through the enhanced Kodiaq range following strong sales growth in 2025 and early 2026.
