Renault India recorded domestic sales of 39,955 units during January-October 2026, registering a 31% year-on-year increase over 30,558 units sold during the corresponding period last year. The company has already exceeded its full-year 2025 sales of 38,065 units by nearly 5% within the first ten months of 2026.
In October, Renault India sold 4,577 units, marking a 35% increase from 3,399 units in September and a 39% rise compared with July, the opening month of the third quarter.
The company attributed the positive momentum partly to the encouraging response to the Renault Triber 100 PS, which was recently launched, and continued traction for the Renault Kwid across key markets.
Renault India has also introduced the New Renault Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160, featuring the company’s E-Tech Hybrid technology. Priced from Rs 16.99 lakh, the vehicle combines a 1.8-litre petrol engine, two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery to deliver a combined system output of 160 PS and peak motor torque of 208 Nm.
The hybrid model offers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 29 km per litre and can support up to 80% of city driving in pure electric mode. Renault said it offers fuel savings of up to 29% compared with diesel. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
Renault India manufactures vehicles at its Oragadam facility in Chennai, which has an annual capacity of 480,000 units. Its nationwide network comprises nearly 638 sales and service touch points, including more than 200 Workshop on Wheels locations.
