NSE announces Rs 1,700-1,785 price band for IPO opening on September 17

National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) has announced the price band for its initial public offering (IPO) at Rs 1,700 to Rs 1,785 per equity share of face value Rs 1 each. The IPO will open for subscription on September 17, 2026 and close on September 21, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for September 16. The minimum bid lot has been fixed at eight equity shares and in multiples of eight thereafter.

The IPO comprises an offer for sale of up to 126,436,650 equity shares by existing corporate shareholders, including State Bank of India, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Aranda Investments (Mauritius) Pte Ltd, MS Strategic (Mauritius) Ltd, The New India Assurance Company Ltd, SBI Capital Markets, Bank of Baroda, Stock Holding Corporation of India, General Insurance Corporation of India and United India Insurance Company.

The book-built issue will have no more than 50% reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers, not less than 15% for Non-Institutional Investors and not less than 35% for Retail Individual Investors.

NSE reported revenue from operations of Rs 4,560 crore in the June 2026 quarter, compared with Rs 4,032 crore a year earlier, while net profit increased to Rs 3,121 crore from Rs 2,811 crore.

As of June 30, 2026, NSE had 132.37 million unique registered investors, 261.36 million registered investor accounts, 1,328 trading members and 3,005 listed entities. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on BSE.
