Several districts of Arunachal Pradesh are likely to experience rain and thunderstorms over the next five days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting intermittent wet weather across different parts of the state from September 15.
According to the district-wise forecast issued by the IMD’s Meteorological Centre in Itanagar, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Upper Siang, Siang, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit, Papum Pare, Tirap and Longding on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, weather activity is likely to shift across Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Kamle, Tirap and Longding districts. The forecast suggests that several of these areas could continue to experience unsettled weather as the five-day period progresses.
For Thursday, the IMD has forecast rain and thunderstorms in East Kameng, Papum Pare, Changlang and Tirap. Similar conditions are expected in these districts on Friday, indicating the possibility of continued rainfall and thunderstorm activity in parts of eastern and central Arunachal Pradesh.
On Saturday, rain is forecast in Siang, Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Papum Pare and Anjaw districts.
The district-wise forecast indicates that weather conditions will vary across Arunachal Pradesh during the period, with different districts likely to experience rain and thunderstorms on different days. The forecast points to intermittent wet weather rather than uniform rainfall across the entire state.
