MasterChef India is set to return on Sony LIV on World Food Day, October 16, 2023, at 8 p.m., showcasing a culinary spectacle that transcends barriers and captures the essence of dreams. Mohammed Aashiq, a 24-year-old from Mangalore, is among 12 aspiring chefs selected for MasterChef India, showcasing resilience and passion in the culinary world.
Aashiq, the breadwinner of his family, originally harbored dreams of pursuing hotel management. However, financial constraints forced him to take a different path. Aashiq, a former MasterChef India contestant, turned his passion for food into entrepreneurship by opening his own juice shop. He showcased his creative flair by crafting unique recipes for his customers.
Despite being disqualified in the previous season, Aashiq used the setback as motivation to re-enter the kitchen and prove his mettle in the MasterChef India kitchen. Reflecting on his journey, Mohammed Aashiq shared, “I am here not just to win but to stand for every dreamer who has dared to defy the odds.”
