IndusInd Bank integrates with EPFO to streamline provident fund payments

IndusInd Bank has integrated with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour& Employment, enabling employers and establishments to make Provident Fund (PF) contributions seamlessly through the EPFO portal using the bank’s digital banking platforms. With the integration, organisations can directly select IndusInd Bank on the EPFO portal and complete statutory PF payments through the bank’s Corporate Internet Banking platform, Indus Direct, and its MSME-focused mobile banking application, INDIE for Business. The move is aimed at simplifying one of the country’s most widely used statutory payment processes while offering a secure and efficient digital payment experience.

The bank said customers can now remit EPFO contributions directly through the EPFO portal, helping organisations fulfil their statutory obligations with greater convenience. The integration is expected to strengthen IndusInd Bank’s digital banking ecosystem and reinforce its position as a banking partner for businesses, institutions and enterprises. In Guwahati, the integration is expected to benefit businesses, MSMEs and commercial establishments across Assam by making Provident Fund compliance faster and more efficient. With Guwahati emerging as the region’s leading commercial hub, the digital payment facility could support enterprises in streamlining payroll-related statutory payments while encouraging greater adoption of digital banking solutions among employers.

IndusInd Bank, which has been in operation for over three decades, serves around 42 million customers through 3,136 branches and banking outlets, 2,870 ATMs, and a network covering approximately 1.62 lakh villages across India as of March 31, 2026.
