Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, partnered with House of Masaba to unveil an exclusive jewellery collection at India Couture Week 2026, marking the designer label’s first-ever bridal couture showcase. The collaboration highlighted a blend of India’s traditional jewellery craftsmanship with contemporary bridal fashion, presenting designs inspired by diverse regional art forms and cultural heritage.
The curated collection featured classic yellow gold jewellery, heirloom-inspired antique pieces, temple jewellery with intricate nakshi work, Rajasthan’s iconic aads, delicate filigree craftsmanship, ceremonial maangtikas, and coloured gemstones set in gold. Alongside these traditional elements, the showcase also presented modern silhouettes designed for contemporary lifestyles. Every piece was handcrafted by master artisans using generations-old techniques, with intricate detailing and stone setting reflecting India’s rich jewellery-making legacy.
The runway presentation was further elevated by an ensemble of renowned models, including Madhu Sapre, who returned to the India Couture Week runway after nearly a decade, alongside Carol Gracias, Sheetal Mallar and Sakshi Sindwani, showcasing the collection with House of Masaba’s vibrant bridal creations.
Shantiswarup Panda, Head of Marketing at Indriya, said the collaboration brought together fashion and jewellery rooted in Indian heritage while demonstrating how traditional craftsmanship continues to evolve for modern consumers. Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design at Indriya, said the collection celebrated the diversity of Indian jewellery traditions and showcased the artistry of master craftsmen through timeless designs. Designer Masaba Gupta said Indriya’s creations successfully balanced tradition with modernity and reflected the trust associated with the Aditya Birla Group in the fine jewellery segment.
The collaboration is expected to resonate strongly in Kolkata, one of India’s leading markets for gold and bridal jewellery. The city has a deep appreciation for handcrafted gold ornaments, antique designs and heirloom collections, making heritage-inspired creations particularly attractive to wedding buyers. Industry observers believe the growing preference among younger consumers for jewellery that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary styling could further strengthen demand for premium bridal collections in Kolkata during the upcoming festive and wedding seasons.
