Health Dept Reshuffles Specialists to Strengthen Medical Services

The Arunachal Pradesh government has transferred nine specialist doctors to hospitals and health centres across the state with immediate effect as part of its efforts to strengthen healthcare services and improve the availability of specialist medical care in different districts.

The transfer order, issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare on July 27, was approved by the competent authority and implemented in the interest of public service.

According to the department, the doctors belong to the specialties of Paediatrics, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Pathology. The reshuffle has been carried out to ensure a more balanced distribution of specialist healthcare services across government hospitals and community health centres.

Under the order, Dr. Ojing Tayeng has been transferred from District Hospital, Yingkiong, to District Hospital, Likhabali, while Dr. Inan Lollen has been moved from District Hospital, Boleng, to District Hospital, Basar.

Dr. Martum Jokik has been posted from District Hospital, Koloriang, to the Community Health Centre at Chowkham. Dr. Rita Mena has been transferred from District Hospital, Anini, to Zonal General Hospital, Tezu.

The government has also transferred Dr. Tana Jesy Tara from the Community Health Centre at Doimukh to the Community Health Centre at Sagalee, while Dr. Deepa Yudik Taba has been shifted from the Community Health Centre at Seijosa to District Hospital, Anini.

Dr. Surat Nabam has been moved from the Community Health Centre at Pake Kessang to the Urban Community Health Centre at Itafort. Dr. Nang Neeta has been transferred from Zonal General Hospital, Aalo, to District Hospital, Namsai, while Dr. Kago Aring has been shifted from General Tadar Zonal General Hospital, Ziro, to Zonal General Hospital, Tezu.

The Health and Family Welfare Department has directed all the concerned authorities and the transferred doctors to comply with the order immediately to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted delivery of healthcare services.

The notification was issued under the signature of Pawan Kumar Sain, IAS, Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
