Godrej Enterprises Group’s Security Solutions Business has launched two security products featuring facial recognition technology, extending advanced authentication systems to individual homes and residential communities.
The company unveiled the NX Pro Ncrypt Home Locker and SEETHRU Third-i Multi Apartment Video Door Phone with a Face Recognition Lobby Unit, targeting consumers seeking enhanced security and convenience.
The NX Pro Ncrypt combines facial recognition, fingerprint authentication and digital PIN access. It supports up to 19 facial profiles, 49 fingerprints and 19 user codes, with encrypted facial templates secured through 128-bit AES encryption. Priced from ₹47,499, the locker is available through authorised retail outlets, dealer partners and digital channels.
The SEETHRU Third-i system supports facial recognition, mobile app, QR code, IC card and password authentication. It can store 10,000 facial profiles, connect 98 buildings on a single network and integrate up to 32 IP cameras.
In Guwahati, the launch could offer opportunities as urban housing projects and apartment communities explore technology-enabled security solutions. Demand from homeowners and residential developers for convenient access management and monitoring could create a potential market for advanced security products, although local adoption and affordability will influence uptake.
Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head of Godrej Enterprises Group’s Security Solutions Business, said the products aim to simplify access while maintaining high security standards. The company has also launched its ‘Your Face Is Key’ campaign to promote facial recognition in residential security.
