Godrej Agrovet posts 17% revenue growth in Q2 FY27, PAT rises 22% to Rs 103 crore

Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) reported a 17% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 2,995 crore in the second quarter of FY27, ended September 30, 2026, driven by strong performances in Animal Nutrition, Oil Palm and B2C Foods.

The company’s profit before tax (PBT) increased 5% to Rs 131 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) rose 22% to Rs 103 crore. However, EBITDA remained flat at Rs 222 crore, with margins impacted by around 120 basis points due to input cost inflation and El Niño-related challenges. The company also improved its working capital cycle to 21 days from 32 days a year earlier.

For the first half of FY27, revenue grew 13% to Rs 5,847 crore, although EBITDA, PBT and PAT declined by 5%, 4% and 1%, respectively.

CEO and Managing Director Sunil Kataria said Animal Nutrition and Oil Palm led quarterly growth, with revenues increasing 14% and 28%, respectively. He highlighted investments in plantation expansion, product premiumisation and capacity utilisation as key strategic priorities.

In Guwahati, the company’s growth in animal nutrition, dairy and food products could offer opportunities amid Assam’s expanding livestock, dairy and food-processing sectors. Its focus on value-added products and agricultural supply chains also holds relevance for the wider Northeast market.

Kataria said the company remains focused on strategic transformation and sustainable long-term growth despite operating challenges.
