Coca-Cola India has announced its onboarding onto the Open Network for Digital Commerce

Coca-Cola India has joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce network, which will help Coca-Cola leverage ONDC’s data-driven insights, market intelligence, and strategies. The company has launched its own marketplace, the ‘Coke Shop’, exclusively on the ONDC platform, which will transform consumer interactions with Coca-Cola products and empower retailers across the country. By joining ONDC Network, Coca-Cola India will access a vast and diverse consumer base in the digital commerce arena, ensuring widespread availability of its products. SellerApp, the technology enabler, will streamline order management and inventory tracking, allowing Coca-Cola’s sellers to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within their specific market segment.

The ‘Coke Shop’ marketplace model benefits retailers by providing another channel to sell their products and facilitating multiple touchpoints for consumers to purchase from. Retailers who have not accessed major e-commerce platforms will now have an opportunity to regain customers and cater to a wider audience. Coca-Cola has partnered with nStore Technologies to execute this model successfully, enabling retailers to chart their digital growth strategy.

OnDC MD & CEO T Koshy expressed happiness to see Coca-Cola join ONDC on this transformative journey, offering consumers an exceptional shopping experience and expanding choices for buyers. The company aims to empower local retailers, help them build digital visibility, and boost their businesses.
