Recently an unsettling incident surfaced from Paschim Dhantala area of Teesta Canal Road adjacent to Murder More of Fulbari II Gram Panchayat where a youth was publicly assaulted, resulting in severe injuries. Recently the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) of all booths of Alipurduar Lok Sabha constituency have been sealed in DCRC strong room situated at Alipurduar University. An incident of fire was reported from DS Colony under Ward No. 34 of the Siliguri where a house was completely brought down to ashes.
