Cyclone Gulab Reaches Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Winds Up To 100 Kmph

Cyclone Gulab began its landfall process on Sunday evening, the India Meteorological Department said. The system is likely to cross North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha coasts between Kalingapatnam and Gopalpur as a cyclonic storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 75-85 kmph gusting to 96 kmph during the next three hours. A red alert was sounded in both Odisha and Andhra Pradesh for a cyclonic warning and post landfall lookout. Nepali citizen with Indian identity card caught in Panikanki

Kharibari police arrested a Nepali woman with Indian documents. The woman’s name is Rankumari Limbu, a resident of Ratamari in Mareng district of Nepal. The woman was detained by the jawans of SSB's 41st Battalion on Sunday afternoon on suspicion of entering India from Nepal through Panitanki border.
