Two killed, one injured after train hits them while taking selfie in West Bengal

A total of two people were killed and one was critically injured after being hit by a local train while clicking selfies near a railway bridge over the Cossye river in Midnapore in West Bengal on Saturday. The injured person was rescued by the Railway Police and was rushed to the hospital. West Bengal health department on Sunday reported an all-time high of 24,287 new cases of Covid-19 infections, the highest since the first wave of infections hit the country in 2020.
