The Paromunda Karotoa Bridge in Ambari connecting Gajoldoba and Siliguri A part of the bridge collapsed on Sunday afternoon. As soon as it was noticed, the noise started in the area. The depression over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. After it forms, it may be named Cyclone Mandaus as suggested by the UAE.
