Alipurdurwar, September 11: Ahead of Durga Puja, officials of the Falakata police station have seized a huge amount of foreign liquor. Three people have also been detained in the case.On Wednesday, based on a tip-off, the police raided a warehouse located in Jaichandpur Pakritala area under Gwabarnagar Gram Panchayat of Falakata block and recovered a huge quantity of liquor. The liquor was of different brands, with an estimated market value of around ₹10 lakh. Law enforcement officials have said that similar raids will be conducted in the coming days.
