According to reports, the incident occurred after a truck loaded with onions suddenly stopped. Meanwhile, the ice cream truck driving behind could not pull the brakes in time. As a result, the vehicle lost control and collided with the rear of the onion truck. The front part of the ice cream truck was significantly damaged. At the time of the accident the ice cream truck was going from Lucknow towards Siliguri. However, soon after the collision, the truck loaded with onions fled from the spot. luckily, there were no sufferers in the incident.
