Recently the Pradhan Nagar police successfully returned a bag full of jewellery worth lakhs to a local couple after it was accidentally left on an e-rickshaw. Actually the incident occurred when the Jaiswal couple, residents of Pavitra Nagar, visited a jewellery shop in Champasari on Sunday to exchange old jewellery. However, after they actually decided not exchanging the gold due to unknown reasons, the couple headed home in an e-rickshaw. Alipurdurwar, September 11: Ahead of Durga Puja, officials of the Falakata police station have seized a huge amount of foreign liquor. Three people have also been detained in the case.On Wednesday, based on a tip-off, the police raided a warehouse located in Jaichandpur Pakritala area under Gwabarnagar Gram Panchayat of Falakata block and recovered a huge quantity of liquor.
