Recently the Siliguri police have initiated night-time bike patrols throughout the city to combat theft and other criminal activities. In Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb holds meeting on Durga Puja carnival

Recently Mayor Gautam Deb convened a meeting to discuss the upcoming Durga Puja Carnival in Siliguri. Reportedly, a total of 13 clubs will actually participate in the event this year.
