In a significant advancement for animal husbandry in Sikkim, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, in collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and the state’s Animal Husbandry Department, has successfully launched the A-HELP training programme. This comprehensive 16-day initiative, conducted at the Sokeythang Training Centre, aims to empower Pashusakhis—community-based animal health workers—with crucial skills and knowledge to support livestock farmers across the state.
