In Kamrup district, 16-years old girl went missing, the family filed a complaint regarding the missing in the police station. Soon after the investigation the girl’s body was found in the Digaru River at Sonapur. According to the reports, Police arrested a man connected to the incident. Completion of Subansiri Project, to get generated soon

The Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project (SLHEP) is to get completed soon; as more than 90% of its work has been completed so far also it has been successfully completed across all blocks as of 29th June. As per reports, power generation slated to begin by the end of the 2023-24 financial years, revealed by the project developer NHPC. The Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project is expected to generate approximately 7,500 million units of power annually, operating at a 90 percent dependable year. This development is set to significantly contribute to the region's power supply and further strengthen the renewable energy sector.

Assam CM asks political leaders to not intervene

Assam Education Minister talks on NE performance in civil services exam

Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu expresses concern on Assam’s poor performance OF candidates in Indian Civil examination, UPSC. According to the reports, Assam candidates in Indian Civil Services stand at 1.62% as per official data. "We are seriously lagging behind. It’s a matter of serious concern. HEIs of NE must prepare young aspirants for Civil Services and may collaborate with Private Institutions. Sharing a few important slides," Pegu said.
